Whales

Swimming in a sea of blue,
sending out their calls for love,
they're all gone but a few,
it's the last thing we're thinking of,
will we ever understand,
the simple things and let them be,
Whales are just like man,
livng to be free.

They love one another, take care of their own,
and all they want is to be left alone.

Once upon a time they knew
the joy that only love could bring,
now what can they do,
there's no one to hear them sing,
living, only just alive,
that's not how it's meant to be,
they're trying to survive,
hiding in the sea.

Where they love one another, take care of their own,
and all they want is to be left alone.

It's a sad world we have, but it's all we deserve,
we kill everything that we should preserve,
our children will never know,
the world that was long ago ...

Will we ever understand,
the simple things and let them be,
Whales are just like man,
livng to be free.
